Completing a Form
Business Summary
This is what will be published directly onto the website. The essence of the idea should be communicated without going into any detail as all the business details can be found on the registration form. This means that the business summary should catch the eye of a potentail investor with a maximum of 3 sentances.
Business Overview
The business overview is where the entire business idea can be communicated in detail. After convincing the potential investor to download the registration form with the business summary, it is the business overview that will be decisive in the decision to invest in the spesific idea or not. Any detail that the entrepreneur feels will better inform the potential investor when making the decision to invest in the business idea should be included.
What are you Contributing to the Venture?
This is where any financial, capital and labour contributions that the entrepreneur will make to the venture should be communicated. Any skills as well as business networks should also be included in order to convince the potential investor that you are fully commited to the idea.
Investment requirements
The exact requirements that are needed in order to get the business up and running should be included in this section. The capital equipment, required material, stock or any other type of assets should be included. A financial estimate of what each asset would cost as well as an estimate of the entire investment requirement should also be included.
