How it works
To Register a Business Idea:
Step 1
Click on the"Register an Idea" icon.
Step 2
Download the Registration form. In doing so you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Step 3
Complete the Registration form. The form can be completed electronically and emailed to register@biz4u.co.za, or a hardcopy can be completed and faxed to 086 551 6062. For advice on completing a form, please see "Completing a Form" in the "Register an Idea" section. Your form will then be submitted for approval.
Step 4
Once approved, the Registration form will be published on the website with the contact details omitted. Once interest is shown in your idea, you will be informed by an e-mail. Your contact details will then be communicated to the interested investor and the business idea will be removed from the website.
Step 5
At the beginning of every month you will recieve an e-mail which confirms your dedication to the published idea. If you are no longer interested in finding an investor for your business idea you will be required to reply to this e-mail and include the business ideas reference number which can be found on the published version of the registration form.
To invest in a Business Idea:
Step 1
Click on the "Browse Ideas" link.
Step 2
Once you have found a potential investment, click on the business summary and download the entrepreneurs' from the "Browse Ideas" section. By downloading the form you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Step 3
If you are satisfied and would like to contact the entrepreneur, e-mail your name as well as the reference number of the spesific business idea to investor@biz4u.co.za.
Step 4
The entrepreneur will then be informed that interest has been shown in his/her idea and the entrepreneur's contact details will be communicated to you.
Step 5
The business idea will then be removed from the website and it is up to the parties involved to establish communication.
