What kind of business ideas are valid?
There are no boundaries to what kind of business ideas can be published. From grass-root start-ups to big business ventures, as well as non-profit organisations, any reasonable ideas shall be published once approved.
What if I lose interest in my business idea?
If for any reason you would like your idea removed from the website, please e-mail register@biz4u.co.za and inform us so that we can remove the idea from the website. However, you will recieve a monthly e-mail to confirm your commitment to your business idea and by replying to this e-mail and informing BIZ-4-U that you are no longer commited, your business idea will be removed.
What if the communication does not lead to business?
BIZ-4-U opens up a communication channel between the entrepreneur and the interested investor. It is the responsibility of the involved parties to further and agree on any future business activities. For further advice, please refer to the usefull links section on this website.
How long does it take to be published?
Any new business ideas shall be published within a week from submission subject to approval volumes.
How long does my business idea stay online?
The published business idea will stay online indefinitly, if the entrepreneur decides to withdraw the idea he/she would be required to inform us at register@biz4u.co.za of the cancelation and it would then be removed from the website.
What if the Business idea fails?
BIZ-4-U merely creates the opportunity for a business venture. It is up to the entrepreneur and the investor to make the business a success.
How do I know I'm not investing in a scam?
All ideas that are published have gone through an approval process, however, BIZ-4-U can not gaurantee the legitimacy of the entrepreneur. What do I need to register an idea?
In order to register an business idea you just have to download the registration form and complete it. Once this form is completed you are required to fax or e-mail the Registration form to 086 551 6062 or register@biz4u.co.za and if approved it will be published.
Who can enter?
Absolutely anybody is eligable to publish as well as invest. If you are under the age of 18, BIZ-4-U suggests that you obtain the concent of a parent or legal guardian when investing in a business idea.
How long will it take me to find an investor?
Once the business idea is published it is up to the merit of the idea to find an investor. This can range from a few days to a few months depending on the circumstances and the idea.
Can I edit my idea?
If you would like to edit your idea, you can cancel your current published idea by informing register@biz4u.co.za and reregister the new idea following the same process.
Am I guaranteed to establish contact with the entrepreneur?
The commitment of the entrepreneur will be confirmed monthly. Once the contact details have been supplied to the investor, it is up to the investor to establish communication.
Do I have any obligations towards the entrepreneur?
No. Once contact has been established all business and negotiations are completely private.
How many ideas can I publish?
There is no limit to the number of viable business ideas that can be published. However, we kindely request that you are fully commited to each idea that is submitted and that you inform BIZ-4-U of any business ideas that you are no longer commited to.
How do I invest?
Once you have identified a potential investment you are required to inform BIZ-4-U via e-mail by communicating your name as well as the spesific business ideas reference number. The entrepreneur will be informed that interest has been shown in his/her idea, while you will recieve the entrepreneurs contact details.
